    Renie

Founder of Renaissance Next and founder and EIC of Nussey Magazine, Renie spends most of her free time writing articles, expositories, fiction, and poetry. She is re-learning the guitar and enjoys writing and performing music. She has a strong interest in graphic and web design, which is fortunate since she often finds herself thusly occupied, for one reason or another.

Having recently been granted an M.A. in mathematics from Boston University, Renie is in search of an upwardly-mobile, writing-based job. Perhaps you know someone to which she can be referred.

    blablover5

Hi, my name is blablover5 but you can call me blab. And believe it or not that doesn't mean I talk a lot (even if I do).

I started posting at TrekBBS about a year and a half ago and almost instantly started my own evil group of war mongerers and people out to destroy the norms. We got a bit distracted by jell-o and couches along the way sadly.

My undergrad degree is in animal science and I'm gonna be working with genetics stuff (don't get me started on it, and really don't try to out do me when it comes to meat or biological science). I am dating another mod on this board, have fun trying to figure out who. Though I will say that it isn't the damn squirrel. :p

For reasons that escape me, TPTB decided I should be an admin so I'll try to not set anything on fire. I also mod the misc. forum with the lovely Cayla. As most people will tell you I'm easy going and can be easily bribed with pictures of cute puppies or a naked Daniel Craig."

    Niorah

Niorah is a stand-up lady from Italy. Crowned "The Postess with the Mostess" on TrekBBS by Flukie, she has yet to live down her title.

Her legendary posting skills are comparable only to her charm.

    Anti Drone

Born to a happy hippy and a psychologist, Anti Drone made his way into the world searching out things to try and enjoy. Armed with an insatiable curiosity and a talent for mischief, he has spent the last thirty years trying to learn and experience everything that this world has to offer. But hardly a hedonistic glutton or a straight arrow, this strange soul spends his time balancing his love of the unknown while alphabetizing the canned goods in his pantry. And with his love of beer and a magical ability to find the most fantastic shoes at discount prices he has also worked his way into the hearts and minds of law enforcement in several states.

At the moment Anti Drone is busy working as a graphic designer, interior decorator and photographer. He has also worked as a journalist, actor and a theater director/producer/writer/designer. In his free time he likes to paint and quietly work on a novel that will never see the light of day. He also has a great love of film and television of all kinds. His dream is to one day write and direct his own independent film. To that end he is looking for a tree that grows money.

He also likes pie especially if it has ice cream on it (cheesecake too) but a nice fresh cookie will do in a pinch. And he is fascinated by monkeys.

    Omnius

A squirrely resident of the Netherlands, Omnius implores you not to try to steal his nuts.

Omnius is a 26 year-old systems administrator and software engineer. He's a friendly person whose magnanimity effuses those around him with positive vibes.

    Unicron

Moderator of trekBBS and frequent post on Kelly'z Korner, Unicron has found yet another forum on which to spam. Uh, post relevant knowledge. Yyyyeah. That's right. :)

He can be found writing characters for role-playing games, and is interested in writing fiction based on his characters. An idea-man, Unicron is endlessly tinkering with models and concepts.

He is a fan of the wonderful group Enigma.

    DanTheGrey

Thirtysomething. Proud (at times smug) Canadian on the Prairies and quite happy there. Degree in Computer Science and currently a Systems Developer/Architect. Politically a centrist who views all parties with a bit of suspicion but has voted in every election since age 18. Enjoys philosophical discussions as well as reading history and political science related articles. Some interest in macro-economic theory as well as geology, geography, astronomy (exo-solar) and people watching.

Interests in fiction are generally concentrated in the world of Science Fiction and very rarely fantasy. Alternative history is a particular favorite sub-genre of Sci-Fi. Knows far too much about Star Wars for his own good and loves Doctor Who, Firefly, Babylon-5 and Deep Space Nine for TV Sci-Fi. Has quite a large DVD collection that almost rivals the piles of books. Enjoys good British comedies whether they're on TV or the radio and listens to more things from the BBC than he does local radio.

Musical tastes are all over the map, however, country and rap rarely make it into the mix.

Favourite colours - Silver, Blue, Black
    Favourite animal - Hawk
Celebrity He Would Most Like to Meet - Stephen Fry
Favourite drink (alcoholic) - Red wine
Favourite drink (non-alcoholic) - Iced chai
    Favourite band - Garbage

    Lupine

Deeply interested in writing, with hopes one day to publish his own novel, Lupine is a moderator of the Publishing forum.

A long-time member of the "Ignored" set on trekBBS, Lupine is certainly not ignored on ReNext. A nice guy who always has something interesting to say, he can at times be quiet, but is present in our minds nonetheless.

    Cayla

Elected the Queen of the trekBBS, Cayla has the equal opportunity to aspire to Imperator status on ReNext.

A popular, effervescent personality, she works doggedly at co-modding the most voluminous forum on ReNext, Miscellaneous.

    RJDiogenes

RJDiogenes, is, unfashionably, a heterosexual white male. He is still single, despite the recent landmark court ruling that allows atheists to marry. A lifelong Bohemian, he finds himself in the odd position of managing an urban midwifery service. His favorite author is Arthur C Clarke; his favorite movie is Casablanca; his favorite song is "The 59th Street Bridge Song"; If he was a tree, he'd be one of the talking ones from HR Pufnstuf.

He is also the author of a volume of poetry, Large In Time, and a volume of short stories, The RH Factor. For those who can't get enough of his moderating skills, he can also be found keeping things under control at KellyzKorner and TrekBBS.
